5 DAMN STARS!!!
This has become one of my favorite books of the year, let me say that first. Second, I cried more than I have since reading Lemons by Melissa Savage and that is really hard for a book to do to me. Third, the characters in this book, mainly Starr, gave this book so much life and I loved every single one of them, even plain-ass Chris. The issues this book brought to light had me saying "YES!" every time to the point where my sister came into my room and asked "Who you yelling at?". I can see this becoming a classic in the future and it deserves it so damn much. Angie Thomas is a queen.
