Half-Moon Investigations by Eoin Colfer
4.0
This is an extremely amusing Encyclopedia Brown-ish novel. I loved it. Colfer's use of cheesy detective humor had me laughing out loud as I read.
This follows the story of a child detective investigating the seemingly harmless crimes in his town. And it keeps ya guessing. I thought I had it figured out, but I was wrong. *le sigh*
You'll really enjoy this. One thing I really appreciate about Colfer is his use of strong children characters. This book had a young man who had become a licensed detective by taking an online class and using his father's birth certificate. Colfer obviously loves kids.
Great read!
