Idk why but this really felt the like the story was unnecessarily dragged on and certain plot twists could've been done with zero need to reusing the whole

thing. And the amount of character assassin tion at the cost of trying to make certain characters look good definitely got me speed reading through it which is sad because I actually like those characters in the first book.
