Grave Peril by Jim Butcher
4.0
First read in May 2102: Original review below.
The books are excellent commute books. I also love that, having watched Buffy & Angel since my original read I now know that James Marsters just uses a more American version of his Spike voice for Thomas. Who is one of my favorite characters.
Original Review:
In hindsight, I know my feelings on Grave Peril are mixed, but it is hard to articulate why. The book felt jerky, unglued. I think perhaps the attempt to bring together a vast scale of characters did not work out as it should. I know it is absurd to complain that a Dresden book felt implausible, but it did.
3.5 stars.
