Second in the Amish Village mysteries. I had gotten the first one free quite a while ago, and have also read the Shipshewana mysteries also by Vanetta Chapman. I enjoyed them, but didn't just love them. I was browsing the free Prime Reading loans at Amazon and happened across both the 2nd and 3rd in this series, so with my completion complex in high gear, I downloaded both to read. It had been a while since I had read the first, but the author did a decent job of reacquainting me with the characters, and a fair bit came back once I started reading. Set in Amish country (Middlebury Indiana), in a bustling Amish village that contains, among other things, a restaurant, coffee shop, bakery and knitting shop, we find our main characters. Amber is the overseer of the village and has a penchant for finding killers in this sleepy hamlet. A decent mystery, and I will (at some point) read the third one (Murder
