So good! I loved the fantasy elements and biology blended with science fiction. Binti is a fascinating character, relatable and unique, someone you cannot help but root for as she finds danger on her first journey away from home. The story is full of unexpected turns, including an abrupt twist that left my heart pounding. I would love to see more of this particular world in other stories.

I'm really excited to read Okorafor's other works. I've been hearing great things about Lagoon, so that is probably next on my list.
