The President's Daughter by Bill Clinton, James Patterson
5.0

Matt Keating is the President of the United States until his vice president defeats him in the next election. Now, Matt is living the good life in his lake house in New Hampshire. His wife has returned to her passion of archeology. Both are still being protected by the Secret Service. However, his 19-year-old daughter Mel has aged out of Secret Service protection for a former president's child. Enter a terrorist with a grudge against Matt Keating. The terrorist blames Matt for his wife and children's deaths and intends to make Matt feel the loss of his child. He kidnaps Mel and demands an outrageous ransom. What follows is the battle of Matt's life. He must navigate insane politics, deal with the current President and her agenda, call in old favors from other countries, and evade his own Secret Service detail to find and rescue his daughter, but will he make it in time?
