Bloodline: Every Root Holds A Secret by Jim Ody, M.L. Rayner, M.L. Rayner

4.0

"The sunlight had been chased from the sky by time Shakespeare eventually found his way home. He had a rabbit hanging from his jaws but no girl following in his footsteps. Layla Jones didn't come home that night. Nor the next. Nor the next."

I found this one a little slow to start with, after the initial abduction, and found myself wondering where the story was leading. By the time it had started picking up, I had figured out at least 2 of the twists, but there were a few other twists that took me by surprise. I ended up really enjoying it, although it did leave me with a couple questions.
I've read the Little Miss Evil books from Jim Ody, but this was my first from M.L. Rayner, and after this, I will definitely be taking a look at his other work.
