I read this book many years ago, and I remember feeling so inspired, and changed by, the things I learned. Where does one get the drive to effect change as a young teen? To go out into the world like that? To an introvert like me, his trip to Asia was as foreign as sci-fi. I learned so much, especially about child labor and how prevalent it is in our world. I'd be interested to find out where he is nowadays - obviously the non profit is still going strong, and is a big international force.
