The Intersectional Environmentalist: How to Dismantle Systems of Oppression to Protect People + Planet by Leah Thomas

For me, this book is a great jumping off point to intersectionality in the environmentalism movements. The language that was used to draw together these ideas of the interconnected nature (no pun intended) of various underrepresented and marginalized communities in the environmentalism movement was incredible. I know that I will use this book as a resource to re-center future environmental research, conversations, projects, papers, ect. around BIPOC, queer, and disabled communities. In addition to the chapters of the book, there are a plethora of people, websites, books, podcasts, movies, and examples that I am excited to delve into in the near future.
I think if I had read this book when I first got into environmentalism and climate activism, I would most certainly be different.
