I was OBSESSED with the writing style, and the two love interests lol so if it wouldnt have turned into liberal boot licking half way through i would've given it 6/5 stars. If you're a liberal you'll LOVE this shit.
i hate, HATE, Dawn. Like shes such a fucking bitch cunt with 3 braincells and i was so sad she wasn't killed at the end. Even though half way through it was clearly liberal boot licking, i was really hoping the author would take the "tragic" route and kill dawn. Unfortunately she survived.
1. The way she was concerned about him killing a LITERAL CHILD MOLESTER. LIKE. A CHILD MOLESTER. and how the author spins it that he is "just as bad" as Christian. ?????
2. When dawn was like, "mY dAd WoUlD wAnT mE tO dO tHe RiGhT tHinG." THATS WHEN I WAS LIKE OK I HOPE SHE DIES AND THE OTHERS CAN ESCAPE.
3. He did the RIGHT thing by killing Christian. It was their only chance to escape, they wouldn't have if he had been around. AND HE HAD BEEN MOLESTING A LITERAL MINOR FOR MONTHS. ???? Trying to push the "ViOleNcE iS bAd On BoTh SiDeS" is genuinely disgusting, I HATEEEE liberals cuz this is genuinely how they think. That's why he's the "antagonist", not the literal child MOLESTER, Christian. Btw Christian would have absolutely spun it to sound like HE had killed Amber, and obviously the fuckin police are gonna believe him over a troubled teen.
4. I did kinda feel bad for Alex but he was a boot licker too. It's unfortunate he was brain washed into thinking the ppl abusing and torturing him for months, deserved "kindness" or whatever. But unfortunately that puts everyone else in danger. These kids have been through SO much and they just would've ended up in jail, even the ones who literally didn't do anything. I wish he would've tried to talk to Alex first lol but like meh.
5. AMBER'S ROLE IN THE STORY IS CLASSSIC. CLASSIIIIIIIC liberal boot licking. It was actually painful lol. Bc no, NO MATTER HOW NICE & HELPFUL SHE SEEMS, she still allowed Christian to keep harassing and molesting the girl while continuing to demote her so she'd stay and keep being at his mercy. Also, super pussy move to let Christian take them down the bad route lol. I felt more neutrally when she died but I HATED how Dawn used her as her motivation to "do the right thing". Also her being alive at the end even though Christian was dead, is classic liberal boot licking lol. Like "look readers, the GOOD ONE is alive!🥳"
6. I felt sad Lucas got caught between the cross fire. He was a GOOD GUY in love lol.
7. I LOVED the beginning where Dawn was like, ooo who will I choose? I LOVE THOSE LOVE TRIANGLES LOL if it wouldn't have been liberal boot licking she would've ended up with him lol and it would've been my fave book of the year so far.
8. The end where SHE KILLS HIM is like the epitome of white saviour complex lol. Ok so it's not okay when he kills a child MOLESTER who will make u all end up in jail even though he's the one (almost) killed Amber ? It's not okay for him to kill the one who literally drove you to this? STOP MAKING THE AUDIENCE FEEL BAD FOR CHILD ABUSERS. THEY WERE NOT CHILDREN THEY WERE NOT TEENS- THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING.
All in all, very classic American liberal status quo & saviour complex book.
