Blood at the root 🧙🏾‍♂️🧙🏾‍♀️🪄📜❤️🏫

TW: Racial slurs,Themes of
abandonment, betrayal fighting, blood and other intense themes. Please take care of yourself.
Pacing: medium- fast pace.
This was more than just a fantasy. This was a love letter to our ancestors weaved in with black comedy, friendship, finding family learning to let go and forgive WHILE ALSO GIVING US  magically black people doing magic shit. Every element of this story was fire. From learning about Malik (he’s hilarious) to going to Caiman and discovering things along side him you truly can’t help it but to root for him. This to me was a true depiction of black people the culture and us as a community everything that was said I have heard from a family member in my life which made it more relatable, honest and funny. THIS EVEN MADE ME CRY AND ITS THE FIRST BOOK TO EVER DO SO. This is a strong Debut.
I encourage you all to not mess out of it.
Can’t wait for the next one.🪄
