The Tempest
by William Shakespeare
This was honestly one of my favorite Shakespeare plays I have read. It is extremely comical and very well-paced. It had a very whole-hearted ending and I'm happy that Shakespeare had an actual hero as his protagonist for once. Prospero is a decent man. He doesn't kill anyone, no matter how much they wronged him. Stayed loyal and true to Gonzalo for helping him that one night on the boat. He kept his word to Ariel. He even let Ferdinand live and marry his daughter. I'm surprised he didn't retaliate more on Antonio but I think that just goes to show how good of a guy he is. He used his magic for good, to get back what once was his and what he deserved.
