The Steal by M.J. Rose, C.W. Gortner
4.0
A quick, enjoyable read set in France in 1957. Jerome Curtis is an insurance investigator and Ania Thorne is the director of Thorne & Company, a jewelry company. He is called to investigate when the jewels that are supposed to be for famous actresses are stolen.
It's part mystery and part romance. We get dual point of views, which I always enjoy. I didn't really feel the romance vibes from her at all. From him--yes...just not her.
When the unmasking of the thief is exposed in the end, I was left wanting more. It's unclear if there will be more to this series as it was left in a cliffhanger.
