A Man Without a Country by Kurt Vonnegut

5.0

Fuck yeah. Weirdly made me want to learn more about the Iraq War. Beautiful mix of nihilism and sincere appreciation and hope for humanity. I'm obsessed with Kurt Vonnegut.

”If you really want to hurt your parents, and you don’t have the nerve to be gay, the least you can do is go into the arts.”

“God put [Picasso] on Earth to show us what it’s like to be
really rich.”

“Electronic communities build nothing. You wind up with nothing. We are dancing animals. How beautiful it is to get up and go out and do something. We are here on earth to fart around. Don’t let anybody tell you any different.”
