Such an enjoyable read! The second half got particularly twisty and good but I felt swept up in The Manor from the beginning. Charlotte and Janie were both enticing characters and I liked seeing them change and grow. I also enjoyed all of the supporting characters, especially Harry and Andrew! Andrew was a surprise. While it sometimes felt a lot like other Downton-esque books, I still felt that the characters were interesting, and the secrets were delicious! I certainly didn't guess any of it and really loved the ending in particular. It's a wonderful mix of romance and independence and friendship.
