The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan
3.75

The Titan’s Curse brings more of the same excitement and wit, but the story feels a bit more familiar this time around. The stakes continue to rise, and the bond between Percy and his friends deepens, but the sense of fresh adventure from the first two books starts to fade slightly. The introduction of new characters adds some intrigue, though the plot feels more formulaic. That being said, Riordan still delivers with sharp humor, clever twists, and a world that’s hard to leave behind. It’s a solid continuation, but like The Sea of Monsters, it doesn’t quite reach the same level of magic as the first book.
