This book is all things at once and simply heartbreaking. I may not survive until book 2 is released. The characters are perfect. Childhood sweethearts reconnecting at quite possibly the worst time ever. The characters are quirky and this book made me laugh out loud but in true Jennifer Hartmann form she'll push you to the point of comfort and then rip out your heart before she attempts to put it back together. This book is very well written and I can not wait for the second book.  I just should have waited to read this because cliffhangers drive me crazy.
