The Accomplice by Lisa Lutz

4.0

This was one of three books I read last week, that have been on my TBR list for a while but I have been putting off for some unknown reason. Turns out I shouldn't have put them off because they were all solid, entertaining, smart reads.

I don't want to say too much about this, so far from the pub date, so I will just say that this had every single thing I want in a thriller - twisty but not overly so, well-written characters who acted in accordance with their personalities, characters I cared about even when they did lousy things, an explanation that I accepted and made sense.

One thing kept this from being five stars for me, and it is just a matter of opinion. (I mean I guess everything is but this is more along the lines of what I wanted to have happen, as opposed to bad writing.)
