I really loved this!! The world was so refreshingly different and I really enjoyed the politics and the history between the different groups. Keera is such a complex character, and I really enjoyed seeing a badass be a badass. The enemies to lovers was enemies to lovering, but at a respectable pace that was realistic in my opinion. I can see this as a great start and intro to a series, and I am really excited to keep reading it. The reason I am docking it 0.5 points is for two reasons- one I found a typo in the book (RIP), and two, although Keera is a very complex character, I found her willingness to jump ship to overthrow the king after 60 odd years unrealistic. The author tries to explain this away with a multitude of detail about Keera and her past, but I still found it a bit hard to believe that she goes from cold hearted killer that is the kings puppet to not .
