I liked it. I went in expecting fluff and I got some really good fluff. (Note: Fluff is not an insult in any way)
It had a strong premise. Can I be the personal assistant to a villain?
It had 2 tropes that I enjoy: grumpy/sunshine and miscommunication. There's something satisfying about watching two characters struggle with their feelings and the sweet satisfaction when they stop being dumb and get together. I love every minute of that.
It was a pretty easy and light read.
Things I didn't enjoy as much: I found that most characters lacked any real depth or growth. They were just there to push the plot along. One of my favorite characters is a frog named Kingsley who communicates with written signs. And the nickname "little tornado" was weird. It was sprinkled throughout but didn't always make sense in the situation or the sentence.
