This is a really amazing story just a bit rough around the edges. My problem was mainly with the writing style, the structure of the book. It’s really missing the finesse it needed and it just gives the whole book a raw feel. Some sentences ended up making no sense thanks to the commas and their complexity. Also there are changing point of view but there is no indication where, when or who is talking and it took me a while to figure it out.
Roar takes being an alpha male to extremes but after he realizes what he really has he became quite a caring and compassionate person. Bit doesn’t mean that he has an easy job because he has no idea what it means to be in a relationship and how to proceed. His fumbling during the learning process is quite ’cute’. He became putty in Ever hands.
Everly has a crazy and traumatic past but it didn’t’ brake her. She is a real ball buster, tough character. I adored her so much. She can take care of herself and I really like that she doesn’t lose her edge during the story.
The chemistry between her and Roar are off the charts and they build a beautiful little family, just what both of them needs.
I really liked the atmosphere this book created and enjoyed the story immensely. The romance part of the story is perfectly detailed, steamy and emotional but the action part could have got a bit more attention. The book itself is not so long and I felt that the end of the plot is a bit rushed.
