gooooood golly, I remember this book being in every white woman between the age of 20 and 45’s hands in the mid-2010s. I finally got around to reading it to see what the hype was all about and somehow managed to not encounter spoilers in the past decade this has been out. The Gone Girl era, are we okay as a society that this is what was/(still is??) gripping us?!
