Hmmmmmm so good! This series is amazing! It really is hard to put them. Aden has so much to go through in this book. He gets hypnotized by a fairy, poisoned by goblins, bitten by vampires, kidnapped by witches, and Elijah's prediction in the first book came through! Within the last 5 pages of the book too! Talk about a cliffhanger!
You find out what Mary-Ann is in this book too, which won't bode well in the third book I'm sure. Ah Mary-Ann & Riley, I'm rooting for ya'll!
Seriously, this book is one wild ride. and Ms. Showalter knows how to keep you glued to the page! Even when the point of view shifts to another character, the pacing doesn't let down a bit, it always moves forward (just in another character's view).
The cover is awesome too! I'm pretty sure it's Aden, but thats not how I think of him... and what's with the necklace? o_O pretty sure that wasn't mentioned in the book...
