📌“I need to prove to you that I’m not that guy. That I’m not who everyone else thinks I am. That you’re my game-changer. My anomaly. My person.”

📌”I want everyone to know she’s mine. Maybe then they’ll see that I’m not the person they thought I was. That she’s changed me. But even if they don’t, it doesn’t matter as long as she knows.”

Me back in May: oh my baby llamas and all the pumpkin pie, Ben and Gillian are the best and The One I Left Behind is my absolute favorite. Nothing will ever change that 😭🥹

Me in June: forget everything I said, Jude and Sadie are my most precious babies and I will love them above all else. The One I Stood Beside is my forever love.

Me in September: Jude who? Sadie? I only know Emmett and Briar. Their love story is now intertwined in the magic fabric of my dreaming and I won’t ever stop obsessing over them.

And I do stand by this. Honestly, all of this. But specially the last part. You have no idea how satisfying Emmett’s arc was. You have no idea how much I was rooting for Briar. I can’t wait to hold this book in the tightest hug in the history of deranged people hugging books.

Chad is the most perfect name for such a person. 🙄 Parker deserved better as well.
