Aside from the self-help hype and tone in the book, I found this intriguing and helpful. If he could ditch the intro implying that this book will change your life because mistiming your life is probably the main thing that's wrong with you (it may be a big thing, but most of us have more than one health/life problem that needs to be fixed) and stop making up labels of "____ rhythm" for every single thing he talks about, it could have been a five star book.
Some of the advice is pretty basic stuff we all know we need to do, but the personalization makes it feel more achievable, and for me at least, the studies explaining the science behind it is motivating.
I would love it if the author would write a book specifically for school children and how to align their lives with their chronotypes--I can hardly recommend this one to my nieces and nephews with all the references to the best times to have sex sprinkled throughout the book! Actually, it might also be nice to have an edition that includes more information for those who have flexible schedules, as a lot of the this book focused on how to adapt to your 9-5 workday.
