This was quite an unsettling book, especially when the 13 year-old Lolita says « mais si papa, on est amant » or when the dad, as Lolita is sick, writes « abandonnant l’idée de lui faire l’amour ». You realise that some people are completely crazy, but also how a child’s naivety can be manipulated by adults into making them do disgusting things. Overall, I thought it was an interesting book though I would’ve liked the ending to be slightly more elaborated and exciting.
