Lethal White
by Robert Galbraith
I've seen a lot of others here saying this novel was too long "for a mystery," but I disagree. I loved how intricate and involved the mystery was, along with how in depth it got with the characters -- both the protagonist due of Cormoran and Robin, and the many suspects, who were all quite three-dimensional -- throughout. Hell, I was so engrossed with the story and the writing that I honestly wouldn't have minded if it was 10% longer.
