I'm not sure how to rate this book. The writing was great as usual with Melissa Foster. No disappointment at all in that regards. I enjoyed any mention of Danica and Blake. Their story, and progress was absolutely enjoyable to read.
My only issue, and why I had trouble with this novel is Kaylie. She frustrated and annoyed me in equal parts. I found her sections of the novel difficult to read, and I will admit to skipping ahead so I could get more of Danica and Blake in some instances. This was my personal preference though, and nothing to do with Melissa Foster as a writer. I just couldn't enjoy this character for my own reasons.
That said I look forward to finishing the series.
