Interesting idea, characters fell flat with little development. Unnecessary side story about

the husband cheating on the wife

when it would've been more of a draw to focus on the kids' mindset and how things were effecting them. There was very little rise and fall of the story, itself, and the characters felt the same throughout, despite time passing.
