I really liked this! And above all the ending wrapped up well, and left me satisfied with the characters and happy at the conclusion which really seals a good deal.
The characters were well thought out and characterized, the chemistry was there, the points of contention were nicely fizzled in so that you knew the history our mc was dancing around but you didn’t know the full hairy details, and above all the writing was my kind of funny. As someone who loves reading a good sports action scene I wish we could have gotten a few more game sequences, but such is the way when reading a romcom that happens to be set in the world of sports.
This is the authors first book, so while I really liked this, it wasn’t the writing gods’s next greatest gift to man (a high goal I know) but I have high hopes for her future books! She can only get even better
