The plot had so much potential, but this book falls flat for me. There’s no depth and nothing interesting really happens. It’s also a slow read and Ky and Cassia’s romance is lacking. Xander is my favorite character so far and he barely makes an appearance in this book. I’ll read the third book simply to finish the series, but I’m not yearning to know what  happens and wouldn’t recommend this series to others.
