I feel conflicted. I really wanted to like this book but I felt like the relationship between the two main characters moved extremely fast and then the plot of Dreamland and the inheritance had a lot of potential and was interesting but I felt wasn’t really a focus. For a book I felt that focused on the characters, the main characters felt pretty one dimensional throughout while the chemistry felt forced and rushed. I struggled to finish the last 15-20% of the book. I really wished I liked this better than I had bcause of all the hype. There were some times during the book that I thought were cute though and Rowan and Anni’s banter were the saving grace for me.
