Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut

These short stories have a range of topics that make you think about everyday life and some experiences that we may not be privy to in our own life. There are a few about sales people, others about lovers, one about an orphanage etc. Eight of the stories really stood out far from the rest: Harrison Bergeron, Who Am I This Time?, The Foster Portfolio, D.P., Deer In The Works, The Kid Nobody Could Handle, The Manned Missiles, and EPICAC. I could read these ones over and over. When something was funny I had a good laugh. When something was emotional it touched my heart. You know a fictional story is a good one if it can make you feel something real.

Report on The Barnhouse Effect, The Euphio Question, and Unready To Wear give the reader something science fictional to think about.
