Inked in Lies by Giana Darling

Wow, I did not want this story to end. The one thing I can say about the Fallen men is that they are poetic. I'm not sure if my ovaries are in retrograde or I'm a big sap but the beginning of this book had me in tears. If you haven't read any of The Fallen Men series, this is an age-gap romance. This is a love story that spans over years of their relationship. There is a 12 year difference between Lila and Nova. Lila has loved Nova for as long as she can remember. They are best friends that morphed into so much more. However, Nova is so unwilling to acknowledge it because of his past. Lila was broken hearted for years because she thought this was unrequited love. But when these two come to their senses? DAMN! The scenes in this book gave me hot flashes (I had no business reading this at work). It's impossible not to fall in love with the character's in Giana's books. The love between Nova and Lila was so beautiful because it came from this amazing friendship. Safe to say I wasn't disappointed.
