Oh my what an ending. This book rocked me, although it hasn’t got 5 stars only because sometimes I just wanted to find out what was happening to the main characters, and Sapkowski loves to introduce random people and I can never remember all their names 😭 It does give the impression of vastness to the world, but too many different vantage points gets confusing quickly. Especially when you don’t know who’s talking. Other than that, I was entranced! I was dying to know how Ciri, Yen and Geralt would all meet up again and how their stories would end. Milva, Cahir, Regis and Angoulême’s deaths absolutely destroyed me though, I will never forgive him for that I was dissatisfied with the ending? but you can’t always have a completely happy ending I guess :( what an enchanting world though, it was very bleak at times, not to mention cryptic, but I did love the world-building, the politics, the mystery and the intrigue.
