There’s a lot of drama and tension with the opening of the hotel, having to schmooze female critics and having your father monitor your every move while your vindictive/manipulative brother tries to sabotage it all. The communication between Henry and Abbi was lacking greatly. It was frustrating at times. Especially with their maturity/experience differences.
Abbi gets moved to the landscaping crew. She develops a good friendship with Ronan. He helps her through the hard times. He understands and doesn’t share her secrets. I really enjoyed her time with the landscaping crew during that section of the book. This is the second book in the series
