Pulling off a good novel about time travel is a challenge. Writing a novel about a pandemic after an actual pandemic without sounding preachy or boring is even more difficult. Emily St. John Mandel manages both in Sea of Tranquility and tells an intriguing story that unravels through different centuries, keeping the reader guessing until the end. I liked the writing style and the message, I only wish the audiobook had been narrated by only one person, not switching between different narrators for every part of the novel.
