The Wrong Mother by Sophie Hannah

4.0

You'd never know this when you pick these up, but they're different mysteries with the same set of police solving them. So they're really about these police characters as much as they are about the mystery. I think I'm reading them backwards, but that's okay. This one was better than The Dead Lie Down because I thought the mystery part was tighter. And, this book slipped in a bit of an interesting commentary on motherhood.
