A Certain Hunger by Chelsea G. Summers

Pretty good stuff. The internal workings of a female psychopathic murderer. Perhaps she was too relatable as a character, but then if you made her a true psychopath, she might be beyond the pale of becoming an interesting character. I saw this called the “female American Psycho” but I think that comparison is a bit off; American Psycho was more of an indictment of society and a type of lifestyle it supported whereas this was much more of a character-driven narrative. But certainly an entertaining read.
