What a great, informative book. I knew of the opioid epidemic going on in the United States, but this book just blew me away with the amount of information it had within its pages. I got to know the family behind the epidemic and the company they run, but I also got over my fear of medicine and started understanding better and better what makes opioid-based medicine so dangerous and so addictive. So much food for thought, so much information to absorb and notions to unpack. Highly recommended to people who want to understand America today.
