Agnes and the Hitman by Bob Mayer, Jennifer Crusie
4.0

I think this is the last major Crusie that I had left to read? Until she puts out another book??? (Not that I'm waiting anxiously or anything...) Anyways, this is a delight. Starring Agnes the angry, swinging her frying pan at anyone who threatens her dog and a wacky cast of characters who all need to be fed, plus the hero, the strong silent type, whose name I've already forgotten, but he's the strong, silent type (hit man, of course) who falls hard for Agnes, her anger, and her cooking. This book had everything I love in Jennifer Crusie's writing: a ridiculous action, satisfying romantic plot, many friendships, and a found family, plus the extras of a Mafia wedding, gators, and flamingos. Heh.
