My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing

1.0

This book wins for the most plot holes and inconsistencies I've ever come across in a book. The wife's hair is short one scene, then in another, it's long and braided. The husband has a phone to call his friend outside, then in the next few paragraphs, he doesn't have a phone and only has his keys on him. Also, everything just seemed to be just way too convenient. I kept wondering if this book had an editor or not.

Then there is the completely flat dialog, flat characters, and the fact that nothing of suspense ever happened save for the last 60 pages. And even *that* fizzled out at the end.

Yikes. Just, yikes.
