With this volume, I have currently caught up with the anime, which means that everything after will be new to me, which is very exciting!
In this volume, we see the fight between Daki and Gyutaro (upper rank 6) and the Demon Slayers come to a conclusion.
This probably has the most engrossing and attention-grabbing fight of the series thus far. It came with the usual hallmarks of the manga - the flashbacks, the unwavering determination of Tanjiro and company, and Tanjiro’s kindness to every demon he kills and what he does. But what made this better was the perseverance of Tanjiro and Nezuko pushing their bodies to the limits, activating new powers within themselves. As Tanjiro has grown over the series, it can be seen that through practice, his abilities are of caliber of the Hashira. Through this intelligence, they killed the two upper ranks by cutting off their heads.
