 Sheesh, this story is not for the faint of heart!! I don’t mind a super dark romance but this bordered on A Little Life territory of torture porn. Disappointing because I loved Haunting and Hunting Adeline so much. Of course I can’t relate and understand someone’s decision making when they are under horrendous domestic violence, but at some point it’s like GIRL YOU IN DANGER GET OUT. Plus some of the plot points were SO outrageous (you know the scene with Alison…) that I was like what is going on. Anyway, read it if you want but I can’t recommend.
