The Endless Knot by Stephen R. Lawhead

2.0

I thought this book was never going to end. If The Silver Hand was a high 2-star, this one is a low 2-star. I didn't think it deserved one since I did actually bother to finish it and it does tie up a few storylines from the entire trilogy so it isn't entirely worthless. Just mostly. I mean, nothing happens for the first half of the book! It is lacking conflict, mystery, suspense, it's just a big fat nothing. And then when things finally do start to happen, they're eye-rollingly stupid at times. Not to mention the whole damsel-in-distress motivation which I find lazy and annoying. Anyway. Not sure how people love these books so much, they were merely passable at best and a downright slog at worst.
