It's so good to be back in the Dragon Veil universe and to start the series off with Rory is perfect, so deserving of his own HEA.
Fen is perfect for him, though they don't meet under the best of circumstances, Fen having just been shot and on the run. Rory is quick to act and it becomes clear pretty quickly that these two are important to each other.
Rory goes through a lot of changes in this book and truly finds his place with the pack, what he has wanted most. Fen is escaping the loss of his family and someone attacking him but he fits perfectly with Rory and as part of the pack that welcomes him with open arms. There is the mystery of who came after him but, for now, Rory's happiness is enough.
Another great read from Minerva and I'm eager to see what Liam, one of Rory's brothers is interested in going up the mountain for....
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
