This book would have been incredible if it had 1 more act.
It has so many really cool ideas and interesting things to say, and as a reader I was very compelled by the three storylines and excited to see how each ended and intersected.
Unfortunately it fumbles the reveal badly with 50 pages left to go, and doesn’t really manage to recover. The book still gets its point across, barely, and I am still glad I read it, but those chapters at the end really just feel like the author ran out of time, or wordcount, and delivered a slightly embellished plot outline in lieu of the more careful (and better paced) prose of the prior 80% of the book.
