Wow, just wow! What an emotional roller coaster this book was. It was not at all what I was expecting and nothing like her other romance books. This was a dark, emotional thriller. A complete edge of your seat experience. It was sad and disturbing and really made me uncomfortable most of the time but not in a bad way, more like running the gamut of human emotion. I felt everything this character felt, trapped and hopeless but tenacious and determined. What an amazing feat of the author to so completely pull me in to her story, that I don't think I will forget anytime soon. It's definitely different but worth the experience.
