An Echo in the Sorrow by Hailey Turner

5.0

I really took my time reading this because each chapter I read, I was that much closer to finishing the book and the feeling of dread, seeing the way things were going, was increasing.

It's always frustrating to me the non-choices put forth to Patrick, his acceptance of what the gods ask of him and I really, really wish he could adopt a bit of Jono's and Wade's attitude towards them (gods) and tell them to EF themselves. But as Patrick realizes, if things haven't gone that way for him then he wouldn't have Jono and his pack and family.

As all of Hailey's stories and especially this series, the 6th book is a roller coaster of emotions, with plenty a mix of gods that come for aid and/or hindrance for their selfish reasons. Bonds are growing stronger, steadier, sturdier and deeper and as we are at the final stretch for the conclusion of the series every bit of faith will be needed and tested.

I received an ARC from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review.
